Projects Day Problem Resolved

Phew. after three days of staying back after school, me and my group finally found a mentor. And yes, it is hard work.
I feel quite angry with all the "kiasu" Sec 1s who found a mentor immediately after the talk about projects day without even having a proposal. Us, we had a proposal but were rejected every time because the teacher mentors had already agreed to mentor other groups which did not really have much of a proposal or idea of what they wanted to do, for that matter.
I also want to tell you about this habit that our group shares. We usually play "rock, paper, scissors" to choose who to present the proposal to the teacher. Well my group and I were about to give up when we decided to try our luck with a random teacher. After a quick round of "rock, paper, scissors", (lol) we went to talk to the teacher and she readily accecpted our proposal and decided to be our mentor. In other words, we were saved^^ Although she decided to be our mentor, I do not really know her name as i'm not good at remembering names and stuff like that.
P.S. I have decided not to put up brainteasers anymore as they do not seem to be that popular. But I will post up a few perplexing questions if I've nothing to write about

I had a fruitful new year holiday this year. The first two days of the holidays were spent on rushing out the homework given to us. After that our entire family went to Chinatown to grab last minutes bargains. We reached home at about 10p.m. and I fell asleep almost immediately.
I received about $100 in pure profits! Why do I say that and what do I mean? Well, my grandfather just passed away recently so according to the Chinese tradition, we are not allowed to give out red packets during Chinese New Year for a period of two years, while our relatives can, so when they give us red packets, we need not give them back, so it amounts to pure profits!
Oh yes! I remembered that I said I would reveal the answers for the brainteasers given, so, for those who gave up halfway and did not know how to do them, its time to rejoice!
*Drums Roll*
First Question: Faredce
Answer : Red In The Face (Geddit? The word "red" is in the word "face")
Second Question: Ban ana
Answer: Banana Split (This is quite obvious. There's no need to explain, is there?)

P.S. Please post your comments about the brainteasers on the tagboard. If you support them, I will include one for every post and reveal the answer on the next.

Internet Connection Upgraded.

Yes!
I cannot believe that my internet connection has finally been upgraded after three years. It's finally a decent speed-3mbps ( My previous speed was 1mbps) I also believe that my parents are buying two new computers soon to replace my old one so i will have two computers soon.
Yes!
Even the prospect of having a lot of homework over the new year "hoildays" will not dampen my spirit. Finally my house is going to look like a decent and normal household with the new computers and all.
Anyway, I also thought of a few things for you to ponder.
Would a fly be called a walk if it had no wings?
Brainteasers coming right up!
* BAN ANA*
Those who thought of the answer themselves without any help please post your answers on the tagboard and leave your name. I will reveal the answers for both the 1st question and the 2nd one on my next post :)

Perplexing questions!

I have a few questions for you!

Q. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

This is a question that poses a dilemma for many people. If you're expecting me to say there's no answer to that question, you'd be wrong. It's the egg that came first.

Most scientists think that all life on earth evolved. Evolution is the gradual development of life to suit its surroundings. For example, a worm lives underground so it doesn't need very good eyes because there isn't very much to see so any eyes worms once had have been lost form generation to generation. We can't change while we're alive, but our offspring can. As things gradually evolve, they can change quite a bit. Have you ever seen pictures of what we think our ancestors looked like? Big foreheads, lots of hair, longer arms, slouched backs etc. We weren't really human then; we have gradually evolved to as we are now.

The same has happened with the chicken. If you go back into history, what we today call a chicken would have looked different. It might have had webbed feet which made it hard to walk. Then one day one of the chickens laid an egg and from that egg came a bird that didn't have webbed feet, which was just like our present day chicken. It had evolved.

But that had to start with the egg, so the egg came first.

I also have a few word puzzles (:

FAREDCE (Guess a phrase)
*Don't google the answer! Try using your brains*
*Why play a thinking game when you don't want to think?*

Glitch Found on Blogger

I think I found a glitch on blogger. It's either that or my computer was lagging. I was experimenting with the the shortcuts for posting. (Shortcuts: press Ctrl with: B = Bold, I = Italic, P = Publish, S = Save, D = Draft)

Somehow my word did not appear on the textbox but it sort of appeared in the beige area that was outside the textbox.
Could anyone enlighten me on whether it was a glitch and if not, what was it?

I also had a scare when I accidentally reported myself for spamming my own textbox. LOL. XD
I was experimenting with the textbox, obviously.

That said, I also want to thank my sister who gave me invaluable advice on how to manage this blog. I really couldn't have done it so nicely without her help.

My First Post

This is my first post as a blogger. I started this blog for the purpose of school work (shan't tell you which school) Well whatever..... I sincerely hope you will look out for my next post.
